Congratulations to our first Scholarship Award Winners 2025

Founder, Dr Deborah Gabriel and patrons Mariann Harriott and Albert Harriott extend warm congratulations to the recipients of the Jenny Harriott Foundation first annual scholarship awards in 2025.

Students with the three highest scores in their PEP exams selected for the awards are: Jeffton Rose, the top student with 347 out of 400 points, awarded J$45,000; Gyannia Bruce with 338 points, awarded J$30,000 and Allyah Leslie with 309 points, awarded J$25,000.

Founder Dr Gabriel said: “We are so proud of Jeffton, Gyannia and Allyah for their excellent academic performance, well done! We know all the students worked hard and we are equally proud that they all achieved graduation. We are thankful to the teachers and staff for the excellent education and support the school provides to the children and wider community.”

Commenting on the school’s graduation, Principal Simone Green Johnson said:

“This award has made a positive impact on our school. It has motivated other students to focus more on their studies which will enable them to increase their academic performance, so that they can become future recipients. In addition many of our students are from the low socio economic level so this monetary award will assist them with tuition and school supplies. This scholarship has become a deciding factor for some parents to select Zion Hill Primary as the school for their child. The Board of Management, teachers, students, parents and well-wishers wholeheartedly thank the Jenny Harriott Foundation once again for choosing Zion Hill Primary. God bless you all.”
